A banda Forgotten Boys surgiu em 1997, quando Gustavo Riviera e Arthur Franquini, que cresceram ouvindo MC5, Stooges, Ramones e Johnny Thunders, resolveram montar uma banda e criar uma música que refletisse o tipo de som que gostavam. O resultado foi uma fita demo com o nome de "… cos revenge is sweet". O primeiro disco da banda, "Forgotten Boys", foi lançado em 2000 pela gravadora Ataque Frontal. Ainda nesse ano, a banda fez uma turnê nacional com os suecos do Backyard Babies, e na sequência é gravado "Gimme More", lançado pela 13 Records, de São Paulo. Com a repercussão conseguida pelo lançamento de "Gimme More", em 2003, a banda assinou com a No Fun Records, de Detroit, EUA, e teve seu primeiro lançamento internacional. "Gimme More… and More" tem as 6 músicas gravadas para o split com os Killer Dolls como bônus. A versão brasileira para o relançamento de Gimme More foi concebido pela 13 Records, e trás 6 faixas gravadas ao vivo como bônus. Nesse ano, a banda concorreu ao prêmio de "melhor clipe independente" no VMB da MTV. Stand By The D.A.N.C.E, lançado em setembro de 2005, foi recebido com elogios por toda a crítica especializada, e logo depois, em 2008 lança o álbum Louva-a-Deus, último álbum lançado com Chuck Hipolitho. Também em 2008, a banda foi selecionada para representar o projeto Levi's Music,1 após ter sido classificada unbutton pela Levi's. Em 2010, a banda abriu o show para o Guns N' Roses, no Palestra Itália, no dia 13 de março. No final de 2011 lançam pela ST2 o "Taste It", mixado por Roy Cicala. New Order é uma banda inglesa de rock e Música Eletrônica formada em Manchester no ano de 1980 por Bernard Sumner (vocais, guitarra e sintetizadores), Peter Hook (baixo e sintetizadores) e Stephen Morris (bateria, bateria eletrônica e sintetizadores). New Order foi formado pelos membros remanescentes do grupo Joy Division, após o suicídio do vocalista Ian Curtis, com a adição de tecladista/guitarrista Gillian Gilbert. NOFX é uma banda da California, EUA de punk rock formada por Erik Sandin (bateria), Eric Melvin (guitarra) e Mike Burkett (a.k.a Fat Mike) em 1983. O som da banda é diverso, utilizando elementos de skate punk, ska punk e hardcore punk. Suas canções geralmente abordam temas como política, sociedade, racismo, a indústria da música e religião, com doses humorísticas. Em 1985 assina pela editora Mystic Records pela qual lança vários singles e EPs. Divergências com a gravadora levaram a banda a mudar para a Epitath Records (que pertence ao guitarrista do Bad Religion, Brett Gurewitz) e ao mesmo tempo Fat Mike inicia a sua própria label Fat Wreck Chords. O nome NOFX teve origem numa outra banda punk chamada Negative FX. Baseada nisso, a banda decidiu compor o nome com No FX (No Effects - Sem Efeitos), pois o som da banda não possuía algum efeito sonoro, extremamente comum nas músicas da década de 80. A partir de 1986, Fat Mike torna-se também vocalista da banda e em 1991 surge El Hefe como segundo guitarrista, formação que se mantém até hoje. Com a entrada de El Hefe alterou-se a sonoridade, passando a ter elementos de ska. A banda consegue pela primeira vez notoriedade nos Estados Unidos em 1991 com o álbum “Ribbed”.
