Uma reunião com Phil Lynott produziu o poderoso ‘Out In The Fields’ (1985).

They say the name Green Day (Green Day) came because of the large consumption of marijuana of its members. In addition, Al Sobrante wrote 'Green Day' in a sweatshirt that used to use. Within days, the name had been decorated by the few fans of the trio. At first, Livermore did not like the new name, but accepted the decision. In April 1990, the band released their first official full disk: 39 / Smooth. With 10 songs, this is only full length with Al Sobrante on drums.
