Grupo de samba formado por Felipe Girardi (voz e violão), Natalia Aisengart (voz), Luana Capaverde (tantã), Rafael dos Santos (cavaco), Ricardo Sá (baixo) e Alice Ripoll (pandeiro). Com uma música de conteúdo social reflexivo e com bases fincadas na tradição do samba, o grupo refletia as diversas concepções rítmicas da música pop com o instrumental da roda de samba. Formado nos anos de 1990, o grupo teve como uma de suas inspirações o disco "Olho de peixe", de Lenine e Marcos Suzano. Em suas apresentações, tocava composições próprias, como "O homem dos jornais", "Dessas bandas", "Urucubaca", "A cocaína sumiu da delegacia", "Navegador". Além das composições citadas, são de autoria de Felipe Girardi as músicas "Conversou" (em parceria imaginária com o cineasta Glauber Rocha) e o diálogo musicado do filme "O dragão da maldade contra o santo guerreiro", também de Glauber Rocha. Apresentou-se em diversas casas noturnas, como o Bar Semente e o Beco da Bohemia, além de participar de eventos universitários no Rio de Janeiro. Atuou também em programas de televisão como o "Afinando a língua", do apresentador Toni Belloto, no Canal Futura e foi reportagem de outro programa no canal Globo News. The Allman Brothers Band foi uma banda de southern rock formada em Macon, Geórgia, nos Estados Unidos da América, apelidada pelo Hall da Fama do Rock and Roll como o principal arquiteto do rock sulista estadunidense. A banda foi formada em 26 de março de 1969 em Jacksonville, Flórida com Duane Allman (eleito pela revista Rolling Stones em 2003, como o segundo melhor guitarrista de todos os tempos), Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks e Jai Johanny “Jaimoe” Johanson. Foram descritas dois anos depois ,de 1969, por George Kimball, jornalista da revista Rolling Stone, como “a melhor banda de rock and roll que este país produziu nos últimos cinco anos”. Reconhecidos por sua capacidade de improvisação impressionante, cujo melhor exemplo se encontra no álbum At Fillmore East, a banda foi premiada com onze discos de ouro e cinco de prata entre 1971 e 2005. Infelizmente, em 1971, Duanne faleceu em um acidente de motocicleta. A revista Rolling Stone colocou a banda como um dos 100 Maiores Artistas de Todos os Tempos, em 2004, e foi a banda mais representada na lista de melhores guitarristas feita pela mesma revista. The Allman Brothers Band was one southern rock band from Macon, Georgia, in the United States, nicknamed the Hall of Fame Rock and Roll as the principal architect of the US southern rock. The band was formed on March 26, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida with Duane Allman (elected by Rolling Stones in 2003 as the second best guitarist of all time), Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks and Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson. They were described two years later, 1969, by George Kimball, a journalist for Rolling Stone magazine as "the best rock and roll band this country has produced in the last five years." Recognized for its impressive improvisational skills, whose best example is the album At Fillmore East, the band was awarded with eleven gold records and five silver between 1971 and 2005. Unfortunately, in 1971, Duanne died in a motorcycle accident. Rolling Stone put the band as one of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time in 2004, and was the most representative band in the list of best guitarists made by the same magazine. The Darkness é uma banda inglesa de Hard Rock, formada em 2000. Suas músicas têm influência em bandas de rock dos anos 70, como Queen, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, New York Dolls, Mott the Hoople, Kiss, T.Rex e Sweet. Os irmãos Justin Hawkins e Dan Hawkins nasceram em Suffolk, na Inglaterra, e montaram uma banda de covers, com Dan nos vocais. Em 1997, Justin foi para a universidade em Huddersfield e Dan foi para Londres à procura de uma banda em que ele pudesse tocar. Foi lá que conheceu o baixista Frankie Poullain, com quem dividiu um apartamento. Nos finais de semana, Justin e um baterista amigo dos irmãos, Ed Graham, visitavam Dan em Londres. O trio montou uma banda de rock progressivo chamada Empire. Não durou muito porque eles não ficaram satisfeitos com o resultado, principalmente com a performance de Dan nos vocais. Um tempo depois, Justin participou de um concurso com a canção “Bohemian Rhapsody”, do Queen. Dan ficou impressionado com a performance do irmão e percebeu que Justin deveria cantar dali para frente. Os irmãos decidiram chamar os amigos de volta. Frankie estava na Venezuela e voltou para Londres. Já Ed Graham tocava em outra banda, mas saiu para acompanhar o grupo. Em 2000, nascia o grupo de glam rock The Darkness e os dois primeiros anos foram dedicados ao circuito musical de Londres. Em 2002 saiu o EP “I Believe in a Thing Called Love”, pelo selo independente Must Destroy Music. Naquele ano, eles abriram shows para o Deep Purple e Def Leppard e, no início de 2003, foi lançado o single “Get Your Hands Off My Woman”, que alcançou a 36º na parada britânica. A Atlantic Records interessou-se pelo grupo e colocou nas lojas o disco de estréia “Permission to Land”. Antes de chegar nos Estados Unidos, o grupo teve que regravar uma canção do disco para tirar o excesso dos palavrões. Um ano depois do lançamento, comemoraram 1,2 milhões de cópias vendidas na Inglaterra e mais de meio milhão nos Estados Unidos. A consagração veio em 2004, com quatro indicações ao Brit Awards. Foram elas: Grupo Revelação, melhor Grupo Inglês, Banda de Rock e Disco. O grupo levou as três últimas. No ano de 2006 o The Darkness lança dois singles “Is it just me ?” e “Girlfriend”, no meio do ano de 2006 é anunciado a saída do vocalista Justin Hawkins. They were: Revelation Group, Best English Group, Rock and Disco Band. The group took the last three. In 2006 the The Darkness launches two singles "Is it just me?" And "Girlfriend," in the middle of 2006 is announced the departure of vocalist Justin Hawkins.
