Jack Hody Johnson cresceu na Baía Norte de Oahu, Havaí, aprendeu a tocar violão aos 14 anos de idade. Jack se aproximou mais da música aos 17 anos, quando ao participar de uma competição de surfe, sofreu um acidente que o deixou 90 dias parado. Durante esse período começou a compor influenciado por ídolos como Bob Marley. Foi estudar cinema na Califórnia aos 18 anos, não queria ser um profissional do surfe, por isso decidiu estudar cinema, ideia que lhe rendeu um documentário (Thicker Than Water), dirigido por Jack, gravado a partir de uma aventura ao redor do mundo com amigos, documentário aquele, que em 1997 ganhou o título de documentário do ano pela revista Surfer. Pressionado por amigos como Ben Harper, Jack Johnson gravou seu primeiro CD, “Brushfire Fairytales” em 2001. Em 2005, Jack Johnson alcançou o topo de sua carreira com o lançamento de seu terceiro CD, “In Between Dreams”, onde conquistou o 2° lugar no Top 200 da revista Billboard. Sua música é influenciada por artistas como Nick Drake, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Tribe Called Quest, Bob Dylan, Ben Harper, Radiohead, G. Ana Popovic é uma guitarrista Yugoslava nascida em Belgrado. Desde pequena ouvia seu pai, guitarrista de blues, tocando com os amigos em casa, até que aos 15 anos decidiu tocar a guitarra do pai pela primeira vez. Em poucos anos seu pai já havia ensinado tudo o que sabia e decidira então que Ana deveria ter aulas particulares com outro professor. Seu progresso foi rápido pois Ana tinha um talento natural para a música. Depois de entrar na faculdade de design gráfico, Ana montara sua primeira banda com amigos, o Hush. Em menos de 3 anos eles já haviam tocado em todos os grandes clubes do país, fazendo mais de 100 shows por ano e até aparecendo algumas vezes na tv. Em 1998, com o Hush, Ana gravou seu primeiro álbum, Hometown. Em 1999, já fazendo muito sucesso nos países baixos e em sua cidade natal, Belgrado, Ana assina seu primeiro contrato com a gravadora alemã Ruf Records. Nascida em família de militares, Emmylou passou a infância e adolescência mudando de cidade em cidade, entre os estados de Alabama, Carolina do Norte e Virgínia. Enquanto estudava teatro na University of North Carolina, ela aprendeu a tocar músicas de Bob Dylan e Joan Baez. Em seguida, mudou-se para Nova York, para dedicar-se apenas à música. Trabalhou como garçonete e apresentou-se em clubes folk. Logo formou um trio e voltou a tocar. Em 1971, enquanto se apresentavam em um pequeno clube, foram descobertos por Chris Hillman, ex-The Byrds, à época na banda de country rock Flying Burrito Brothers.
