Aos 15 anos de idade fundou seu primeiro grupo de samba, “Sabe Demais”, produzindo mais tarde o primeiro CD do grupo. Em 2002 participou do programa “Fama”, da Rede Globo. A partir de 2003 integrou o grupo Exaltasamba, ocupando o lugar do cantor Chrigor. Com o grupo gravou oito CDs e quatro DVDs. Em 2009 participou da gravação do CD/ DVD “O Baile do Simonal”, realizada no Vivo Rio, no Rio de Janeiro, na qual interpretou a faixa “Na galha do cajueiro” ao lado de Péricles, seu parceiro de grupo. Em 2010 a música “Valeu”, de sua autoria em parceria com Rodriguinho, conquistou o “Prêmio de Música Digital” na categoria “Música Mais Vendida”. Em 2011 participou, ao lado de seu parceiro Péricles, do evento “São João Carioca” realizado na Quinta da Boa Vista, no Rio de Janeiro, dividindo o palco com Elba Ramalho e Gilberto Gil, dentre outros artistas convidados. A partir de 2012 seguiu carreira solo, realizando uma temporada de shows no Credicard Hall, em São Paulo, para a gravação ao vivo do CD/ DVD “Ousadia e Alegria”, que contou com a participação de artistas como Gilberto Gil, em “Simples desejo” (Jair Oliveira e Daniel Carlomagno), Ivete Sangalo, em “O poder do pretinho” (Thiaguinho e Gabriel Barriga), Alexandre Pires em “Lero lero” (Flavinho Silva, Adilson Ribeiro e Agabe), Luiza Possi em “Ainda é tudo seu” (Luiza possi e Jhama) e do jogador de futebol Neymar na apresentação da faixa-título “Ousadia & Alegria” (Thiaguinho, Gabriel Barriga e Pezinho). Em 2013 a gravação que fez da música “Simples desejo” (Daniel Carlomagno e Jair Oliveira) entrou para a trilha sonora da novela “Sangue Bom”, da Rede Globo. Nesse mesmo ano lançou, pelo selo Som Livre, o EP “Mais e mais”, que incluiu as músicas “As aparências enganam”, “Será que é amor?”, “Facada”, “Deite que vou lhe usar”, “Quer beijinho?” e a faixa-título “Mais e mais”.
