Vocalista e guitarrista britânico, ‘Chris Rea’ é conhecido pelo virtuosismo com que toca guitarra e por sua voz inigualável, e é claro pelas muitas e muitas canções com que se popularizou. Nascido em 1951 como Christopher Anton Rea é filho de Camillo Rea, um imigrante da Itália e Winifred, uma irlandesa. Na estrada desde o final dos anos 70 ao substituir David Coverdale numa banda chamada ‘Magdalene’, lançando-se em carreira solo a partir de 1978. César Menotti & Fabiano é uma dupla famosa brasileira, sendo considerada dupla do sertanejo universitário. Começaram no mesmo ano de João Bosco & Vinícius e Hugo Pena & Gabriel, onde ganharam recordes com Leilão(2006), sendo uma das principais músicas da dupla até hoje. E hoje eles não tem a fama que tinham entre 2007 e 2009, mas já ganharam reconhecimento na música sertaneja nacional. A dupla, que em 2000, se apresentava nas noites sertanejas dos barzinhos freqüentados pelos universitários mineiros foi ganhando espaço. Em 2006, após fechar contrato com a gravadora Universal Music os irmãos lançaram o CD e DVD gravado ao vivo, em Belo Horizonte, no Café Cancun, Palavras de Amor ao vivo. Palavras de amor ao vivo inaugurou uma nova fase na carreira da dupla. A mistura de moda de viola, música sertaneja de raiz, guitarras elétricas e batida pop emplacou hits como “Leilão”, “Caso marcado” e “Mensagem pra ela”. O CD e DVD já venderam 350 mil cópias e conquistaram o título de CD e DVD sertanejos mais vendidos de 2006. Segundo a Associação Brasileira de Produtores de Disco (ABPD), César Menotti & Fabiano ficaram em terceiro no ranking da lista de CD e DVD mais vendidos de 2007. Os números expressivos de vendagem chamaram atenção da imprensa, a dupla foi capa do caderno Ilustrada, da Folha de São Paulo (27/04/08). A turnê Palavras de Amor ao vivo, percorreu o Brasil de Norte a Sul, foram 140 mil quilômetros rodados em 175 shows e recordes de público pelos principais rodeios e festas de peão de boiadeiro, somente na 19ª edição do Rodeio de Jaguariúna a dupla reuniu 57,2 mil pessoas. Em novembro de 2007, a consagração no Credicard Hall, em São Paulo, com o show beneficente em prol do Hospital do Câncer de Barretos. E 2008 começou com uma surpresa para a dupla, César Menotti & Fabiano foram convidados para uma turnê pelos EUA, foram três apresentações nos dias 25, 26 e 27 de janeiro que garantiram casas cheias nos três dias. A dupla passou por Danbury/CT, Newark/NJ e Revere/MA. Nem mesmo a rigorosa lei de imigração que entrou em vigor no estado de Connecticut impediu que a comunidade de brasileiros comparecesse ao show em Danbury. Em Newark, os ingressos do show da dupla eram vendidos pelos cambistas poucas horas antes do show por até 150 dólares. Os irmãos foram eleitos pelos brasileiros residentes nos EUA como o melhor show sertanejo do ano e receberam uma réplica da estatueta do Oscar para simbolizar. No terceiro álbum da carreira, .com_você, lançado em 2007, a música "Caso por Acaso" atingiu rapidamente o topo das 10 mais tocadas nas rádios de todo país.
