One of the main groups pagoda of Bahia, Samba Gang has more than 10 years and won the Brazil road with its well seasoned swing and typically Bahian samba wheel. On stage, the group led by Massal becomes a seething cauldron with dancer Rosiane, a beautiful sculptural mulata that ooze sensuality and that was the cover of Sexy Premium Special, Muse and Playboy Magazine Cup. The bursting of the Gang do Samba was with Embolê music, which eventually became the title of the first album of the group. This album brought many new features, primarily a new way of making and breaking pagoda. Before long, the Gang of Samba was on the charts with several songs among the most performed in Bahia and the entire North-Northeast, especially also for Wade Comadre, Maria Gasolina and Scar. It was a great start of Gang, who was born in the neighborhood of Liberdade (Pero Vaz), in Salvador and Brazil won. During its history, the band shared the stage with established groups like the Black Race, It's Tchan, Only To Counteract, springiness, Exaltasamba, Belo, Fundo de Quintal and many others. Moreover, encouraged several blocks in Bahian carnival, toured the United States, Paraguay, Portugal, Uruguay, Italy, Switzerland and Germany, and participated in the Festival of Peace in Angola that had the participation of Roberto Carlos, Vanessa Jackson, and Araketu Jymy Clyff. Stauros (cross in Greek) is a Christian metal band, which appeared in the early 90's until 2005 when it officially ended its activities. The group won over several fans both in the Christian and secular circles, releasing four CDs and an EP ("Vento Forte" 1995, "O Sentido da Vida" 1997, "Seaquake" 2000, "Adrift" 2001 and EP "Marks of a time", from 2002). His last formation had Celso de Freyn (vocals), Alessandro (guitar), Renatinho (guitar), Elias Vasconcelos (bass) and Edinho (drums). Stauros emerged when the "pop part" of the band Santaterra (which covered several Christian bands in the country) leaves the group, which decides to adopt a slightly more rock style. The band is well accepted at a music festival in Santa Catarina and changes its name to Stauros. In the same year of 1995 the group recorded their first CD "Vento Forte". In 1996, the group signed a contract with Gospel Records and in 97 they released the second album "Sentido da Vida", which can be considered the first Christian metal album in Brazil. The launch is followed by a tour throughout the country and abroad with recognition for the specialized press and with music included in the compilation of the magazine "Heavens Metal Magazine". In 1998 the vocalist leaves the band, and is replaced by keyboardist Cesar. This is the beginning of the best phase of the group, starting by opening the show for the band Bride and the albums Seaqueake and Adrift. In Seaquake, Portuguese is replaced by English, the lyrics of the bassist Venâncio Domingos gain a unique depth that would continue on the next album. In addition to the changes in the lyrics, the sound becomes heavier with superior technical quality, especially on the part of guitarist Renatinho, songs like Seaquake, Friendly Hand and Vital Blood are true classics. We would like to inform our friends and everyone who admires our work that, by God's direction, we have closed the activities of the band Stauros. We praise God for the time we have been together, and for all the opportunities where we have been able to do our best and rejoice with all these people from Brazil. Our history is written and recorded not only in our CDs, but in the friendships and relationships built in these 9 years of road. If we were to thank each person who was important in this journey, we would end up failing with someone, even because many people reached out and welcomed us. So we extend to everyone here our immense embrace and a heart full of joy and satisfaction for all that we have accomplished in God. In our hearts there is a deep desire to please God in all our steps, and to give our future to Him, living abundantly for Him in our present. In 2009, the band was resumed, recording an EP and soon afterwards an album called "Praise", and they planned a new album with the formation Seaquake / Adrift, in Portuguese, but in December 2012 the band disbanded again.
