Restart é uma banda brasileira de teen pop criada em São Paulo em agosto de 2008. A banda tem como principais canções Recomeçar, Vou Cantar, Levo Comigo e Amanhecer no Teu Olhar. O MySpace oficial da banda conseguiu mais de 2 milhões de acessos apenas em 2009, sendo a internet o principal meio de divulgações de suas músicas. Fundada em agosto de 2008 por quatro estudantes, Pedro Lanza, Pedro Lucas, Koba e Thomas, a banda Restart alcançou rapidamente alta popularidade e começou a fazer shows no Brasil. Seus integrantes tornaram-se nacionalmente conhecidos por serem um dos pioneiros no uso de roupas coloridas, principalmente calças, que fazem parte da vestimenta de músicos de música colorida. Além de apresentações em todo o país, a banda participou de uma edição do Casseta & Planeta, Urgente! que foi ao ar na Rede Globo em 10 de agosto de 2010. Seu primeiro disco foi lançado em novembro de 2009, intitulado Restart. Ele trouxe três singles: Recomeçar, Levo Comigo e Pra Você Lembrar. A avaliação da crítica foi mediana, tendo recebido 3/5 estrelas do CanalPop e 3.5/5 da Allmusic. O álbum Restart vendeu mais de 50 mil cópias, sendo certificado com disco de ouro e, posteriormente, com disco de platina, recebido no palco do programa Domingão do Faustão, da Rede Globo. Restart is a Brazilian teen pop band created in São Paulo in August 2008. The band's main Start songs, I sing, I take with me and sunrises in Your Look. The official MySpace managed over 2 million hits in 2009 alone, the Internet being the primary means of disclosures of your music. Founded in August 2008 by four students, Peter Lanza, Peter Lucas, Koba and Thomas, the Restart band quickly achieved high popularity and started doing shows in Brazil. Its members have become nationally known for being a pioneer in the use of colored clothes, especially pants, which are part of the dress colorful music musicians. As Spice Girls são uma girlband pop britânica formada originalmente em 1995 em Londres, Reino Unido. O primeiro nome dado ao grupo foi Touch, na época em que ainda faziam a seleção realizada pela produtora The Stage pra escolher as membros que formariam o quinteto. Após outras formações anteriores, foram definitivamente escolhidas então Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Melanie B e Melanie C, então o grupo tornou-se conhecido em 1996 com o primeiro single Wannabe, sucesso instantâneo direto ao #1 absoluto em mais de 40 países. Em apenas dois álbuns gravados, Spice e Spiceworld, o grupo vendeu 55 milhões de discos, tornando-se um dos grupos mais famosos e queridos mundialmente, recordistas de vendas e criadoras de moda nos anos 90. Ao todo, venderam mais de 75 milhões de discos durante a o período de existencia do grupo. Após alguns shows desfalcados, Geri Halliwell decide deixar o grupo em 1998 em plena Spiceworld Tour, as fazendo concluir a turnê como quarteto. Em dezembro de 1998, elas lançam um single inédito, Goodbye, novamente mais um #1 em vários países do mundo. Em 1999, Melanie C também decide lançar um disco solo, obtendo boas colocações nos charts porém sem abandonar o grupo. Separadas desde então e constantemente pressionadas sobre uma possivel reunião, as Spice Girls aceitam a proposta milionária para um retorno e se reunem em sua formação original em 28 de junho de 2007 em uma coletiva oficial em Londres, divulgam o lançamento de um Greatest Hits, com duas faixas inéditas e a mega e aguardada turnê de despedida. Em 5 de novembro de 2007 o single, Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) é lançada sendo tema do desfile de moda Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show e da campanha benefíciária Children in Need de 2007, cujas vendas do single seriam arrecadadas para ajudar crianças carentes. Em dezembro do mesmo ano iniciam iniciam a Return of The Spice Girls Tour no Canadá, batem mais um record por um show com ingressos esgotados em 38 segundos e finalizam, após dezenas de datas, o grupo dá seu adeus em janeiro de 2008, em Londres. No ano de 2009 novos rumores vindos dos tablóides ingleses indicavam que as Spice Girls estariam voltando. Confirmado por Emma Bunton e Melanie Brown que as cantoras estariam trabalhando em um novo projeto, muito se suspeitou que fosse a aceitação do convite da gravadora EMI para tornar a volta das Spice Girls oficial. Porém no ano de 2010, Emma Bunton confirmou que não voltaria às Spice Girls definitivamente. Além do fato, Geri Halliwell e Melanie Brown declararam estarem trabalhando em novos álbuns para suas carreiras solo cada uma. Em janeiro do mesmo ano veio a confirmação que o grupo estaria se reunindo apenas para lançar um musical na Broadway, intitulado Viva Forever, no qual contaria a história do grupo por meio de atrizes escolhidas pelas cantoras e dirigido pela criadora do musical de sucesso Mamma Mia!. Ainda no mesmo ano outro rumor surgiu: de que as Spice Girls iriam fazer uma única apresentação na abertura ou no encerramento dos Jogos Olimpícos de 2012, que serão sediados em Londres. O primeiro-ministro britânico, Gordon Brown já admitiu que o encerramento das Olimpíadas, será um grande marco na história e as músicas das bandas serão muito importantes nos Jogos. Contudo dentre outros artistas britânicos presentes nesse mega evento, as Spice Girls foram as mais aguardadas na cerimônia de encerramento, sendo as mais comentadas nas mídias sociais e sites de notícias de todo o mundo. Machine Head é uma banda de Thrash Metal / Heavy Metal, formada em 1992 em Oakland, Califórnia. Seus membros originais são: Robb Flynn (Voz, Guitarra), Logan Mader (Guitarra), Adam Duce (Baixo, Voz Secundária) e Chris Kontos (Bateria). Algumas bandas que influenciam o Machine Head são : Black Sabbath, Pantera, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Exodus, Testament… Seu primeiro álbum, chamado Burn My Eyes (1994), foi consagrado pelos fãs e crítica. Tendo várias faixas que tornaram-se verdadeiros hinos para fãs deste estilo músical. Como por exemplo: “Davidian”, “Old” e “None But My Own”. Com o lançamento de seu primeiro álbum a banda foi chamada de “filhos do Slayer”, pelo peso e a notável influência que esta banda exercia sobre eles. Lançarem seu segundo álbum The More Things Change em 1997. Este novo álbum foi marcado com uma nova fase da banda. As músicas eram mais agressivas e com uma certa pitada de hardcore. “The More Things Change” fez muito sucesso com os fãs da banda também, com destaque para as músicas “Ten Ton Hammer” e “Take My Scars”. Em 1998 inesperadamente o guitarrista Logan Mader saiu da banda e foi substituído por Ahrue Luster. Com um novo guitarrista a banda lançou em 1999 um novo álbum, entitulado The Burning Red. Este foi, talvez o álbum mais polêmico da banda. Seu estilo havia mudado bastante. Havia forte influência de new metal, com vocais de rap e bases de guitarra mais simples. Mas em compensação foi o álbum da banda que a tornou mais conhecida do grande público. Talvez por apresentar as músicas de uma forma mais popular. Este álbum conta com clássicos do Machine Head, como “The Blood, The Sweat, The Tears”, “From This Day” e “The Burning Red”. Em 2002 o guitarrista Ahrue Luster largou a banda e foi substituído por Phil Demmel que já havia tocado com Robb Flynn na banda Violence. Então em 2003 foi lançado o álbum Hellalive gravado ao vivo na Brixton Academy, em Londres que contém os maiores sucessos da banda tocados ao vivo. Ainda em 2003 o álbum Through the Ashes of Empires foi lançado na europa, e depois em 2004 foi lançado nos Estados Unidos. Through the Ashes of Empires foi uma verdadeira volta às raízes do Machine Head. Com o peso e a agressividade de volta ao estilo músical este disco é considerado por muitos como o melhor da banda desde Burn My Eyes. With the weight and aggression back to the musical style this album is considered by many as the best band since Burn My Eyes .
