Cantar a mensagem do Cristo, de forma libertadora, para as criaturas compreenderem o Evangelho no real sentido. Foi com esta proposta musical, que surgiu a iniciativa de jovens da Federação Espírita Paraibana - FEPB, de integrarem-se num ideal de compor um conjunto, em 1987, que mais tarde transformou-se no Grupo Acorde. A semente de tudo foi Laços de Família, em junho de 1994. Em 1995 foi lançado o CD Tempo de Regeneração, cantando a mensagem de um novo tempo. Anos depois foi a vez do CD Quem Somos?. E eis a indagação básica para todos aqueles que buscam o conhecer a si mesmo. Os mais recentes trabalhos foram Juntos no Amor de Cristo e Acorde Meditando, este totalmente instrumental. O repertório do Grupo Acorde, que varia de uma espécie de MPB Cristã à meditação, embalada por canções singelas e que tocam diretamente a alma de quem o escuta, já chegou a ser conhecido até na Europa.
