Bernadete Dinorah de Carvalho Cidade conhecida como Baby do Brasil e também como Baby Consuelo, é cantora e compositora brasileira. A carreira artística de Baby caracterizou-se desde sempre pela versatilidade e irregularidade, mas sua presença constante na mídia ao longo de três décadas deveu-se sobretudo ao seu visual extravagente e às suas controversas declarações acerca de discos voadores, supostos poderes mágicos e de clarividência, encontros com Jesus, conversões religiosas e mudança de nome artístico. A maior parte de seus discos solo não atingiu sucesso de vendas e a maior parte dos fãs de samba e MPB sempre foram relutantes em incluir Baby no panteão dos pesos-pesados desses estilos. De todos os modos, o perfil exótico de Baby, um caso à parte no cenário artístico brasileiro, sempre foi de difícil encaixe em qualquer estética ou corrente musical dominantes. Baby, oriunda de uma família de classe média alta e criada na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, começa a cantar e tocar violão ainda na infância, inclusive vencendo um festival de música em Niterói aos 14 anos. No aniversário de 17, foge de casa, rumando para Salvador. Morou embaixo de pontes na cidade e disse ter avistado seu primeiro disco voador nessa época. Em um curto espaço de tempo, participa de um filme do cineasta italiano Giuliano Gemma, passa um período em São Paulo, outro de volta ao Rio e adentra o grupo Novos Baianos. Em 1969, Baby conhece o guitarrista e futuro marido Pepeu Gomes, que se junta à trupe musical. No ano seguinte, é lançado o primeiro disco dos Novos Baianos, É Ferro na Boneca. Pouco tempo depois, a banda e seus agregados mudam-se para um sítio/comunidade hippie no interior do Rio de Janeiro e, em 1972, é lançado o disco de maior sucesso da banda, Acabou Chorare. Baby e Pepeu permanecem no grupo até seu primeiro hiato, em 1978, iniciando suas respectivas carreiras solo (interdependentes) no mesmo ano. Seu primeiro grande sucesso solo, a canção “Menino do Rio”, aparece no seu segundo disco solo, Pra Enlouquecer, em que Baby aparece posando ao lado de quatro filhos na época: Riroca (que viria a trocar seu nome para Sarah Sheeva), Zabelê, Nana Shara e Pedro Baby. Os quatro tornaram-se músicos, e as três garotas formaram a girl-band SNZ, que apenas conheceu um esporádico sucesso moderado. Baby ainda daria à luz a outros dois meninos: Krishna Baby (que aparece na contracapa do disco que leva o nome da criança, de 1984) e Kriptus-Rá (presente na capa do álbum Sem Pecado e Sem Juízo, do ano seguinte). Baby sempre foi muito ligada a correntes místicas e esotéricas, e chegou a integrar a trupe do guru mineiro Thomas Green Morton, que divulgava o poder mágico da palavra Rá e demonstrava entortar talheres e fazer luzes surgirem. Baby, coming from a family of upper middle class and raised in the city of Rio de Janeiro, started singing and playing guitar in childhood, including winning a music festival in Niteroi to 14 years. Natiruts é uma banda brasileira de reggae, formada em Brasília em 1996. Surgida no ano de 1996 em Brasília por Alexandre Carlo, que na época, estudante universitário, tinha a música como válvula de escape das suas alegrias e desilusões com a realidade brasileira. Sem pretensões maiores, visto que já estava encaminhado na profissão de analista de sistemas, compunha canções no estilo que mais se sentia à vontade: o reggae. Numa das cervejadas do time de futebol da UnB conheceu Waldivino Pires de Moraes Jr, mais conhecido como Juninho, com quem passou a fazer um som pelas festinhas em casas e apartamentos da cidade. Essa foi a semente da história da banda. Foi então que Alexandre convidou Luis Mauricio e Bruno Dourado, companheiros de time na UnB, para assumirem o baixo e a percussão. Fizeram alguns ensaios com essa formação. A princípio, era uma banda de reggae comum de quatro componentes, no entanto a influência da música brasileira era forte nas melodias e harmonias das músicas e a necessidade de se fazer um reggae roots brasileiro era definitiva. Por isso fez-se necessária a inclusão de mais elementos musicais na banda. Foi quando Izabella Rocha e Kiko Peres foram convidados a assumirem o backing vocal e guitarra solo. A partir daí a banda criaria identidade própria. O próximo passo, era gravar uma demo, a demo foi gravada ainda na época das fitas cassetes. A reprodução era caseira. Nos velhos três em um duplo deck. A aceitação foi boa por parte das críticas. Alguns shows aconteceram e logo concretizou-se a possibilidade de se gravar um CD. Kiko Peres tinha um amigo da cena musical brasiliense que estava radicado no Rio de Janeiro havia algum tempo. Esse amigo estava trabalhando num grande estúdio carioca e talvez conseguisse um esquema de pagamento por partes da tal gravação. Esse amigo era Tom Capone que acabou participando de uma faixa e posteriormente produziria dois discos da banda, o Verbalize e o Qu4tro que contou com Tonho Gebara na guitarra solo. Chamada inicialmente Nativus, a banda de reggae foi rebatizada de Natiruts devido a um grupo gaúcho de música regional, Os Nativos, que entrou com um processo. A banda brasiliense defende o reggae de raiz mas incorporou ao som uma grande influência brasileira. Quando ainda chamava-se Nativus, o grupo vendeu 40 mil discos independentes com o sucesso “Presente de um beija-flor”, até ser contratada pela EMI. Natiruts is a Brazilian reggae band, formed in Brasilia in 1996. Formed in 1996 in Brasilia by Alexandre Carlo, at the time, college student, had music as an escape valve of its joys and disappointments with the Brazilian reality. No major claims, as was already forwarded in systems analyst profession, wrote songs in the style that was comfortable: the reggae. Toto é uma banda norte-americana, formada em 1976 em Los Angeles, que cantou clássicos como Rosanna e Africa. O Toto iniciou-se em Los Angeles em 1978, com a formação: David Paich (teclados e vocal), Steve Lukather (guitarra, vocal), Bobby Kimball (vocal), Steve Porcaro (teclado), David Hungate (baixo) e Jeff Porcaro (bateria). Os Irmãos Porcaro são filhos do percussionista Joe Porcaro. Os outros membros da banda conheceram-se na faculdade e em sessões de estúdio, na década de 70, quando formaram a banda. Paich, Hungate e Jeff Porcaro escreveram canções e assim gravaram seu primeiro disco, “TOTO”, álbum de 1978 que rendeu-lhes expressiva vendagem. A combinação entre rock e a híbrida essência que a banda tinha marcou seu primeiro disco. O album alcançou o Top Ten, com mais de dois milhões de cópias vendidas. “Hold the Line” foi o primeiro single da banda. Em seguida viriam “Hydra”, em outubro de 1979, e voltam em janeiro de 1981 com “Turn Back”, este menos bem sucedido. “Toto IV”, de abril 1982, com os hits “Africa” e “Rosanna” (nome da namorada de Steve Porcaro, a atriz Rosanna Arquette) e “I Won’t Hold You Back” novamente levaram o Toto ao Top Ten. No Grammy 1982, “Rosanna” ganhou como melhor canção do ano, melhor performance vocal e como melhor arranjo instrumental; “Toto IV” ganhou como album do ano e também como melhor produção e melhor gravação. Cody Robert Simpson nasceu em Gold Coast, Queensland, Austrália (11 de Janeiro 1997). Além de cantor, é nadador. Com 6 anos começou a tocar violão e aos 8 anos a escrever suas primeiras canções. Cody treina no Miami Swimming Club, e, a mãe Angie Simpson trabalha como voluntária no clube. Recentemente, assinou um contrato com a Atlantic Records (subdivisão da Warner Music). Cody Robert Simpson was born in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia (January 11, 1997). Besides singer, is swimmer. With six years began to play guitar and to 8 years to write his first songs.
