O quarteto brasiliense Dungeon surgiu em 1983 com o nome de Anjo Caído, já vinha com uma proposta de heavy metal numa época e num lugar onde imperavam as formações de rock com letras em português e influência punk/new wave. Pouco tempo depois a banda mudou seu nome para Fallen Angel e no final dos anos 80 finalmente para Dungeon. O Dungeon era formado por Bulhões, Parente, Helder e Fejão, sendo que este último foi uma figura de extrema importância no rock de Brasília, guitarrista de mãos cheias, além de aficionado por todo tipo de instrumentos. Fejão também tocou Dents Kents, XXX e Escola de Escândalos. Antes mesmo de lançar seu único álbum o Dungeon era saudado como uma das boas revelações para o ano de 1993. O álbum foi gravado em Brasília e lançado pelo selo Rockit!, um dos primeiros lançamentos da propriedade de André “X” Muller e Dado Villa-Lobos, em CD e LP. O projeto gráfico traz encarte com letras, ficha-técnica e foto da banda, a capa tem um desenho à lápis-de-cor meio mal feito. O Dungeon fez alguns shows, mas não se manteve por muito tempo. The Dungeon Brasilia quartet emerged in 1983 under the name Fallen Angel, already came with a proposal for a heavy metal at a time and a place where reigned rock formations with the lyrics in Portuguese and influence punk / new wave. Shortly after the band changed its name to Fallen Angel and in the late 80 finally Dungeon. The Dungeon was formed by Bouillon, Parente, Helder and Fejão, the latter was a figure of great importance in rock Brasilia, guitarist hands full, and fond of all kinds of instruments. Fejão also played Dents Kents, XXX and Scandals School. Even before releasing their single album Dungeon was hailed as one of the great revelations for the year 1993. The album was recorded in Brasilia and launched by Rockit seal !, one of the first releases of André property "X" Muller and Dado Villa -Lobos, on CD and LP. Graphic design brings booklet with lyrics, record-technical and photo of the band, the cover has a drawing in pencil-of-color means evil done. O Curved Air foi fundado em 1969 por Francis Monkman (teclado e guitarra), Darryl Way (violino e vocal), Sonja Kristina Linwood (vocal), Florian Pilkington-Miksa (bateria) e Rob Martin (baixo). O grupo surgiu da banda Sisyphus, e foi nomeada por Monkman como referência à obra A Rainbow in Curved Air, do compositor contemporâneo Terry Riley. Os músicos originaram-se de diferentes escolas musicais, variando da música erudita, música folk e música eletrônica, resultando em uma mistura de rock progressivo, folk rock e fusion no som da banda. O primeiro álbum foi lançado em 1970. Air Conditioning alcançou a oitava posição nas paradas do Reino Unido. Em 1976 a banda gravou seu último álbum e acabou se dividindo. Periodicamente a banda ainda reune-se em sua formação original para concertos, que resultou em 1990 no lançamento do álbum ao vivo Lovechild, que foi gravado em 1973.

The musicians originated from different music schools, ranging from classical music, folk music and electronic music, resulting in a mix of progressive rock, folk rock and fusion in the band's sound. The first album was released in 1970. Air Conditioning reached the eighth position in the UK charts. In 1976 the band recorded their last album and ended up dividing. Periodically the band still rejoins in its original line up for concerts, which resulted in 1990's release of the Lovechild live album, which was recorded in 1973.

Isabel Vargas Lizano, conhecida como Chavela Vargas, (San Joaquín de Flores, Costa Rica, 17 de abril de 1919 - Cuernavaca, Morelos, México, 5 de agosto de 2012) foi uma cantora da tradição ranchera mexicana. Se mudou para o México aos 15 anos em busca de paz e uma carreira. O país a acolheu e lhe deu tudo que desejou. Iniciou sua carreira aos 32 anos e teve grande evidência nos anos 1950. Conhecida por sua maneira chorosa e intensa de cantar. Encantou o mundo com sua voz incomparável. Foi amiga da pintora Frida Kahlo. Após uma carreira bem sucedida no gênero, e a posterior decadência obtida pelo consumo excessivo de alcool, foi redescoberta em 1992 pelo cineasta Pedro Almodóvar, que resgatou seu talento agora com quase 80 anos, apresentando-a em seus filmes. Publicou sua autobiografia em 2002 em livro intitulado Y si quieres saber de mi pasado. Chavela Vargas faleceu no dia 5 de agosto de 2012 em Tepoztlán, lugar onde morava e no qual se inspirou para compor a canção Maria Tepozteca. [Fonte: lastfm]

He was a friend of the painter Frida Kahlo. After a successful career in the genre, and the subsequent decay obtained by excessive consumption of alcohol, was rediscovered in 1992 by filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar, who rescued his talent now almost 80 years, presenting it in his films. He published his autobiography in 2002 in a book entitled Y si quieres saber de mi pasado.
