Carioca, desde pequeno ouvia música soul e funk, inclinando-se mais tarde para o rock, de que tornou-se profundo conhecedor na época. Participou como vocalista da banda Kabbalah, de hard rock, com influências de Deep Purple, Black Sabbath e outras bandas dos anos 70. Ainda na adolescência abandona os estudos para dedicar-se à música, agora fascinado pela música negra. Foi DJ e escreveu um fanzine sobre o assunto, até conhecer, em meados dos anos 80, o guitarrista Comprido, com quem mais tarde formou o Conexão Japeri, e gravou o primeiro disco, em 1988. Daí vieram os primeiros sucessos nacionais, "Vamos Dançar" e "Manuel". Logo em seguida desligou-se do grupo e partiu para a carreira solo, em que pôde desenvolver seu próprio estilo, ligado à musicalidade dos sons produzidos pela voz, mesmo sem letras, fugindo do que considera "a ditadura da letra" na música. Em 1990 morou em Nova York por um ano e lá gravou um disco com músicos americanos. Descobriu os universos da MPB e da música erudita, o acabou se refletindo na sua concepção musical. De volta ao Brasil, compôs algumas músicas em parceria com Aldir Blanc, compôs a trilha do filme "Pequeno Dicionário Amoroso" e excursionou pelo exterior. Em 1997 lançou o CD "Manual Prático para Festas, Bailes e Afins, Vol. 1", com repertório dançante, mas não se desvinculou de seu compromisso com o jazz e a música tradicional brasileira, apresentando em 2000 o show "Músicas Antigas e Algumas Inéditas". No começo do ano 2002, lança "Dwitza", o trabalho mais jazzy e introspectivo de sua carreira, diversificando como poucos sua produção musical. Em 2005, Ed Motta lança “Aystelum” no qual o artista mantém sua marca registrada: experimentação de estilos e a sofisticação harmônica. Eliane queria ser dançarina, mas seu pai, José Lima, a incentivou a cantar e em 1983 com 15 anos, ela grava de forma independente seu primeiro álbum que vendeu em Fortaleza 30 mil cópias. Seu primeiro grande sucesso foi a música "Quando Será" do álbum "Quero ter você comigo" que deu a ela seu primeiro disco de ouro. A música "Sem você não dá" foi interpretada por ela para o filme Luzia Homem de 1987 e em 1991 a música “Jeito Manhoso” fez parte da trilha sonora da novela Mico Preto. Em entrevistas Eliane relata ter como referência músicas Elba Ramalho, Amelinha, Alceu Valença. Foi indicada ao Prêmio Sharp por três vezes na categoria de cantora regional. Banda fundada pelo guitarrista e cantor Fábio Trummer em 1989. De sua primeira formação fizeram parte os seguintes músicos: Fábio Trummer (guitarras, violão, sample e voz), Urêa (percussão e vocais), Rob (baixo) e Kiko (bateria). Inicialmente apresentou-se em um festival estudantil. Teve várias formações, sendo considerada uma das mais antigas do movimento Mangue Beat em Recife, segundo o pesquisador Roberto Azoubel. Seu fundador, Fábio Trummer, também integrou a Orchestra Santa Massa, ao lado do DJ Dolores, entre outros. Entre os vários integrantes que passaram pela banda, destacam-se Rogermman e Bernardo Chopinho (Banda Bonsucesso Samba Club), Karina Buhr (Banda Comadre Florzinha) e Fred Eremita. No ano de 1993 a banda participou da coletânea "Brasil compacto", produzida por Dado Villa Lobos (ex-Legião Urbana). No CD a banda interpretou "Falta de sol" e "Quando a maré encher". Em 1996 participou da trilha sonora do filme "Enjaulado", de Kléber Mendoça Filho. No ano de 1998, pela gravadora Roadrunner, lançou o CD "Sonic mambo". O disco foi gravado no estúdio Long View Farma, situado em uma fazenda no interior dos Estados Unidos. Foram incluídas as faixas "Os pés a jato", "Pedra", "Festejem", "O dia passa", "Olhando os dentes", "Sofistic balacobaco", entre outras. No ano seguinte, ao lado da jornalista e cantora Stela Campos, entre outros artistas da cena pernambucana, participou da coletânea "Baião de viramundo", disco em homenagem à obra de Luiz Gonzaga, no qual interpretou "Retrato de um forró" (Luiz Gonzaga e Luiz Ramalho). Ainda neste mesmo ano, participou de uma outra coletânea, "Reginaldo Rossi - um tributo", na qual interpretou "Faça como eu faço". Considerada um dos grandes sucessos do grupo, a música "Quando a maré encher" foi regravada no ano 2000 pelo grupo Nação Zumbi. No ano de 2001 o grupo encerrou as atividades, permanecendo apenas o seu fundador Fábio Trummer, que se apresenta com músicos convidados. Neste mesmo ano, Cássia Eller regravou "Quando a maré encher", que logo se tornou um dos destaques do disco da cantora. Em 2002 a banda lançou o CD "Olinda original style", no qual contou com as participações dos músicos Erasto Vasconcelos, Mr. Jam (Dj Dolores & Orchestra Santa Massa), Fernando Catatau, Isaar França e Karina Buhr (Comadre Florzinha), Ganja Man (Instituto), Bactéria (Mundo Livre S/A), Pi. R, Marcelo Campello, Mônica Feijó, Sapotone, Boy, Tiago (Songo), KSB e Buguinha. No ano de 2011 a banda apresentou, no Teatro Rival BR, no Rio de Janeiro, o show "Carnaval no inferno", título homônimo do CD lançado neste mesmo ano, do qual se destacaram as faixas "Quase não sobra" (Fábio Trummer e Junio Barreto) e "Gafieira na avenida", de Jorge Du Peixe e Lúcio Maia. No show também foram incluídas alguns sucessos da banda, tais como "O baile Betinha" (Erasto Vasconcelos) e "Bairro novo" e "Casa caiada", ambas de autoria de Fábio Trummer. Evans Blue é uma banda de rock alternativo formada em Toronto, Ontario, Canada fundada em 2005. O Evans Blue se reuniu no início de 2005.
