[Fonte: wikipedia]

The band achieved national success with the track "Mother is mother," a parody of the performances of Tim Maia. On the launch show, said Milton Abirached newspaper O Globo: "The band continues, among other things, make fun phrases, expressions and behaviors of a certain slow youth, who do not know if it's hippie or yuppie." After this big bang, the performance of the band has been uneven. The next disc, To eat someone, was released by a small label and had very modest disclosure, despite the great success of Casseta & Planeta program, Urgent! On TV. The shows continued to be made in renewed productions such as The Night of Leopoldos (1992) and Casseta & Planeta Unfucked (1996), who packed concert halls in Rio and São Paulo. However, with the increasing work on television shows they ceased in the late 1990. A final album, The bost of Casseta & Planeta, brought together the main tracks of the previous and some new, and also included the participant's Casseta & Planeta at the time Maria Paula Fidalgo Suplicy. Since then, around the Casseta & Planeta band has often been speculated. [Source: Wikipedia]
