Grupo Fundo de Quintal - grupo de pagode criado a partir do bloco carnavalesco Cacique de Ramos no Rio de Janeiro no final dos anos setenta, a madrinha do grupo é cantora e sambista Beth Carvalho. O grupo inicialmente era composto pelos seguintes músicos: Almir Guineto, Jorge Aragão, Neoci, Sereno, Sombrinha, Ubirajara (Bira Presidente), Ubirany. Arlindo Cruz, Valter Sete Cordas e Cléber entraram mais tarde. Hoje é composto pelos músicos: Ademir Batera, Mário Sérgio, Ronaldinho, Sereno, Bira Presidente e Ubirany. O grupo destaca-se por usar instrumentos como o banjo, o tam-tam e o repique de mão. Por muitos anos o Cacique de Ramos desfilou na avenida Rio Branco que era o local onde desfilavam os blocos e o Cacique, sempre vinha na avenida com mais de 10.000 integrantes enquanto os outros blocos nem chegavam nem a metade. Seu maior rival na avenida foi o bloco Bafo da Onça. O Bafo da Onça era comandado por Osvaldo Nunes, cantor compositor, representante e defensor do samba da época. A rivalidade entre Bafo da Onça e Cacique de Ramos era tão grande que quando eles se encontravam na avenida, era sempre caso de polícia. As brigas reinavam em todos os sentidos. Por muitas vezes o Cacique chegava a atrasar o desfile por mais de 4 horas só para pegar o melhor horário e não permitir que o Bafo da Onça fizesse seu carnaval. Se algum componente viesse pela rua com a fantasia do Cacique e alguém do Bafo da Onça com sua fantasia, era melhor um dos dois atravessar a rua, caso contrário seria briga na certa e quem estivesse em desvantagem que arrumasse logo outros parceiros para, pelo menos, poder empatar a briga. Mesmo nestes casos o pessoal do Cacique também saía em vantagem. O Cacique sempre teve mais nome na avenida e no samba, por causa do seu pagode que acontecia todas as quartas-feiras em sua quadra. Com isso conseguia levar um grande número de pessoas influentes do meio do esporte, televisão e muitos artistas para abrilhantar seu carnaval. Com uma nova roupagem, filosofia, letra, melodia, harmonia essa roda de samba passou a ser especial e cada vez mais comentada em todo o Rio de Janeiro. Tudo o que havia na época em termos de samba, na roda do Cacique aos pés da Tamarineira, era diferente. Muitos sambistas surgiram desse movimento e atuam até hoje em defesa daquilo que aprenderam a gostar. O Grupo Fundo de Quintal mantem suas tradições e nunca se utilizou de outros instrumentos alheios a seu prestígio e performance em suas andanças pelo mundo. Quisera esses grupos novos que se intitulam de pagode, seguissem esse mesmo caminho em sua formação musical e instrumental… Sempre prevaleceu o som de cordas e percussão porque esses professores do samba, não necessitam de mais nada, além desses instrumentos para nos fazer cantar e sambar até o sol raiar. As músicas cantadas na roda eram bem compostas, os versos de improviso eram engraçados e os improvisos dos versadores era belo de se ver. Quem pertenceu e quem pertence ao Grupo Fundo de Quintal é porque tem com certeza algo muito diferente de nós. Não conseguiremos nunca tirar o som desses senhores, nunca comporemos igual a eles pois o som deles é diferente é especial. Com certeza a raça, a cultura, o poder a harmonia a luz, além de milhares de outras características os fizeram assim. Eles fazem samba porque gostam, sabem e representam compositores do quilate de Candeia, Nelson Cavaquinho, Cartola, Heitor dos Prazeres, Velha Guarda da Portela, Neco do Reco, Pedrinho da Talita, Manoel Português, Pessoal da Serrinha, Ismael Silva, Trindade, Argemiro, Wilson Batista, Moquinha, Pedro Sabão, Adoniram, Pedro Marteleiro, Tia Madalena, Tião Cantador, Wilson Moreira, Nei Lopes, Paulinho da Viola, Noel Rosa, Talismã, Geraldo Filme, e tantos outros. Tornou-se hábito dos artistas do samba, ao gravarem seus discos, irem procurar sambas novos na roda do Cacique dando assim crédito a qualidade dos sambas que se surgiam desse novo movimento. O pagode já estava bem conhecido e comentado até que Alcir jogador do Vasco da Gama e amigo de Beth Carvalho, (que levou seu produtor Rildo Hora) levou-a para conferir o que havia de diferente naquele samba. Beth foi gostou e passou a ser frequentadora assídua dos pagodes e madrinha do Fundo de Quintal passando, assim, a representar os sambas cantados na quadra do Cacique. Após conhecer os componentes do Cacique de Ramos, Beth Carvalho convidou-os para atuarem como músicos em seu próximo disco no final de 1977/78, disco esse, que se chamaria Pé no Chão. O nome Fundo de Quintal foi dado por um amigo e antigo produtor musical chamado Valdomiro. Estava assim iniciada a carreira artística do Grupo Fundo de Quintal e após o sucesso do disco de Beth Carvalho, o Grupo Fundo de Quintal no ano de 1980 inicia sua carreira profissional. O Grupo Fundo de Quintal em seu gênero é o mais premiado. Além de tantos outros prêmios o maior prêmio da Música Popular Brasileira, PRÊMIO SHARP em seus 12 anos de existência tem o Grupo Fundo de Quintal como recordista em premiação: venceu por 10 vezes, sendo 7 consecutivas como o melhor Grupo de Samba. O sonho começou a virar realidade em 1985, quando a dupla gravou sua primeira música em uma participação na canção "Obrigado a Mentir", no disco da dupla Luiz e Isaac, respectivamente, pai e tio dos meninos. Foram parar no Rio de Janeiro onde gravaram um CD demonstrativo que teve como título “A Cara do País”. Ao lado de Tim Maia, Carlos Dafé, Banda Black Rio, Gérson King Combo e Hyldon, foi um dos precursores da soul music no Brasil. Influenciado tanto pela música negra norte-americana, particularmente Stevie Wonder e Ottis Redding, quanto por Lupicínio Rodrigues. Devido ao comportamento controverso, assim como o do amigo Tim Maia, ambos se auto-intitulavam músicos doidões. Tocou ao longo da década de 1960 na noite do Rio e de São Paulo. A banda Autoramas surgiu em 1997. Gabriel Thomaz (guitarrista e vocalista) alcançou reconhecimento como compositor de hits das bandas Raimundos e Ultraje À Rigor e com sua antiga banda Little Quail & The Mad Birds. Depois do fim de LQATMB, Gabriel chegou ao Rio e chamou seus amigos Bacalhau (baterista) e Simone do Vale (baixista) para fazer um som batizado em bom português como “Rock para Dançar”, uma mistura da Surf Music dos anos 60, com a New Wave dos anos 80, mais influências da Jovem Guarda, e a energia do Punk Rock com guitarras com timbres únicos, baixo distorcido e batidas dançantes. Em 2000 gravaram o primeiro disco: “Stress,Depressão & Síndrome do Pânico”, produzido por Carlo Bartolini e lançado pela Astronauta/Universal. Desse álbum saíram músicas como “Fale Mal de Mim” e “Carinha Triste” que foram veiculadas pelas rádios do Brasil inteiro e pela MTV, rendendo-lhes assim, uma turnê do Rio Grande do Sul ao Amapá, com mais de 80 shows, incluindo a apresentação no Rock In Rio III. O seu segundo álbum, “Vida Real”, foi lançado no fim de 2001. Depois de uma nova turnê pelo Brasil tocando em 11 estados, partiram para sua primeira turnê internacional no Japão, juntamente com a grande banda local Guitar Wolf. Nesta turnê passaram por cinco cidades japonesas e lançaram um disco para o mercado japonês, batizado de “Full Speed Ahead”. O ano de 2003 marcou o lançamento do terceiro álbum “Nada Pode Parar os Autoramas”, pela Monstro Discos. Esse disco ganhou os prêmios London Burning de Música Independente nas categorias melhor banda e melhor disco de 2003 e rendeu convites para os principais festivais no Brasil. Em 2004, os Autoramas partem para sua segunda turnê internacional, na Argentina e Uruguai, tocando em 3 cidades: Montevideo, Buenos Aires e Rosario; seguida pela terceira turnê internacional, com 4 shows no Chile e Argentina, já com a entrada da nova baixista, Selma Vieira. Com essa turnê os Autoramas atingem a marca de 96 shows nesse ano, incluindo shows em 21 estados brasileiros. E é finalizado o videoclip da música “Você Sabe”, que ganhou alta rotação na MTV e recebeu três prêmios no VMB de 2005. Em maio de 2007, após turnês de shows na Europa, a banda lançou seu quarto disco, Teletransporte, pela gravadora Mondo 77. Roberto Carlos Braga (Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Brasil - 19 de abril de 1941) é um cantor e compositor brasileiro. Um dos primeiros ídolos jovens da cultura brasileira, ele foi um dos pioneiros no Brasil do movimento rock'n'roll surgido nos Estados Unidos ao longo da década de 1950, mais precisamente em 1959. Embora tivesse iniciado a carreira sob influência da Bossa Nova, no início da década de 1960, Roberto mudou seu repertório para o rock. Com composições próprias, geralmente feitas em parceria com o amigo Erasmo Carlos, e versões de sucessos do então recente gênero musical, fundando as bases para o primeiro movimento de rock feito no Brasil. Com a fama, estrelou ao lado de Erasmo Carlos e Wanderléa um programa na TV Record chamado Jovem Guarda, que daria nome ao primeiro movimento musical do rock brasileiro. Incubus é uma banda de Rock Alternativo norte-americana, formada em Calabasas, na Califórnia, cujos membros atuais são Brandon Boyd (vocal e percussão), Mike Einziger (guitarra), Ben Kenney (baixo), Jose Pasillas (bateria) e DJ Kilmore (turntables).
