Anna Maria Buarque de Hollanda é uma cantora e compositora brasileira, mas que se notabilizou sobretudo por trabalhos burocráticos na Funarte. Foi Ministra da Cultura do Governo Dilma entre janeiro de 20111 e setembro de 2012. Em 1968, participou do III Festival Internacional da Canção, interpretando o frevo "Dança das Rosas". Em 1980, gravou o primeiro disco solo: "Ana de Hollanda", pelo selo Eldorado. Ana participava das reuniões do bar Riviera, no centro de São Paulo, ponto de encontro de artistas e intelectuais. Foi nesta época que entrou para o Partido Comunista Brasileiro. De 1983 a 1985, Ana de Hollanda chefiou o setor musical do Centro Cultural São Paulo. Entre 1986 e 1988 foi secretária de Cultura do município de Osasco, na gestão de Humberto Parro (PMDB). Fez shows por todo o Brasil e também no Uruguai, em Angola e em Cuba, sempre com repertório da MPB. De 2003 a 2007, dirigiu o Centro de Música da Funarte, durante a gestão do ator Antonio Grassi. Coordenou a Câmara Setorial de Cultura, reunindo representantes dos fóruns estaduais de música, entidades representativas da sociedade civil e setores do Poder Executivo. Segundo Grassi, todos os novos projetos musicais da Fundação, bem como o renascimento do Projeto Pixinguinha, foram de responsabildade de Ana. Ana atuou como vocalista em discos de Toquinho, Vinicius de Moraes, Fafá de Belém e Tom Jobim. Trabalhou como atriz no espetáculo "Nunca te vi, sempre te amei", de Guto Maia.

From 2003 to 2007 , he directed the Music Center Funarte , during the administration of actor Antonio Grassi . Coordinated the Sectorial Chamber of Culture , bringing together representatives of state music forums , representatives of civil society and sectors of the Executive Branch . According to Grassi , all new musical projects of the Foundation as well as the revival of Pixinguinha Project , were responsabildade of Ana.
