George Harrison, nascido em 25 de Fevereiro de 1943, foi um dos integrantes da banda mais popular de todos os tempos, The Beatles. Era conhecido como o Beatle Tímido, mas sua guitarra se fazia presente em todas as músicas do Fab Four e deixou sua marca na historia da música. A canção "Something", totalmente de sua autoria, é a segunda música dos Beatles mais regravada de todos os tempos, atrás apenas de "Yesterday". Sua importância vai além do mundo musical. George foi um dos maiores responsáveis pela propagação da religião Hare Krishna no Ocidente; e tornou conhecida para a massa, práticas e princípios tipicamente orientais, como mantras, Yoga, meditação e etc. Teve uma carreira solo de grande êxito e morreu de câncer em 29 de Novembro de 2001.
