Ugly Kid Joe é uma banda americana de hard rock. O nome da banda é uma paródia ao nome da banda Pretty Boy Floyd. Editando o EP As ugly as They wanna be, foram descobertos pela MTV e a canção “Everything about you” foi um verdadeiro hit. Editaram o álbum America`s least wanted que inclui os hits “Everything about you” e “Cat`s in the Cradle”. Editaram o segundo álbum Menace to sobrity e foram convidados para tocar no Rock am Ring e a gravar a canção “N.I.B” para o tributo aos Black Sabbath. Em 1998 foi lançado o álbum The very best of Ugly Kid Joe: As ugly as it gets. 13 anos depois o vocalista Whitfield Crane e o guitarrista Klaus Eichstadt voltam aos palcos com Cordell Crockett, Dave Fortman e Shannon Larkin na bagagem.
