Integrante da banda de rock Titãs, participou do CD "Rei - tributo a Roberto Carlos". Em 2001 lançou o disco solo "Vou ser feliz e já volto", pela gravadora Abril Music, no qual interpretou diversas composições de sua autoria e ainda contou com as participações de Lee Marcucci e Luiz Carlini. Em 2002 atuou no filme de Beto Brant "O invasor" no papel do matador de aluguel "Anísio", no qual acolheu crítica favarável, elogios e o prêmio "Ator Revelação" no "Festival de Brasília", além do "Melhor Trilha Sonora", também pelo mesmo filme. Neste mesmo ano de 2002 foi lançado o livro "A vida até parece uma festa", biografia escrita pelos jornalistas Hérica Marmo e Luiz André Alzer.
