Léo Santana, é um cantor e compositor brasileiro. Léo Santana nasceu e foi criado no bairro do Lobato, em Salvador, e desde a adolescência, sempre sonhou em trabalhar como músico. Quando a família se reunia na casa dos avós, na cidade de São Domingos, interior da Bahia, tinha o costume de dançar e cantar com os amigos, e foi aí que surgiu sua paixão pela música. Antes de entrar para a carreira artística, começou á trabalhar vendendo frango assado na praia, e fazendo coquetéis em bares. Deixando a escola na 8ª série, Léo decidiu trabalhar com a música, ainda com o nome de Léo Silva, e passou a tocar percussão na Som Bahia. Daí veio a curiosidade de tocar algo como violão, ou cavaquinho, tendo como primeiro instrumento, um cavaquinho antigo dado por sua mãe. Depois começou á tocar pandeiro em uma banda de samba de sua comunidade chamada "Simplicidade Maior", só que ficava meio sumido, pois só o vocalista fazia sucesso, até que ele decidiu decidiu sair da banda, para seguir carreira como vocalista. Após montar a banda "Zairê" e depois passa para a "Garotos de Programa", que não chegaram a sair de Salvador, Léo foi convidado a entrar na banda "Pegadha de Guettho", que apesar de muitas promessas, tinha poucas oportunidades de trabalho. Um ano depois, ele deixa a "Pegadha de Guettho", para montar uma banda com amigos, chamada "Apert Play". A banda também não saiu de Salvador, porém, nela havia um amigo de Léo chamado Jean Nanico, que era sócio da banda "Parangolé", a qual havia recentemente demitido o vocalista Bambam, e após Jean mostrar um CD demo para a produção da banda, Léo foi convidado para fazer parte do Parangolé. Já como Léo Santana, o cantor inicialmente sofreu preconceito, pois com a constante mudança de vocalistas da banda, não acreditavam que ele permaneceria muito tempo nos vocais. Porém, após sua entrada, a banda assumiu uma nova cara, e seus shows passaram a ter figurinos diversificados, e estrutura de última geração, tendo como primeiro sucesso da sua época, a canção "Sou Favela". Em 2009, Léo escreveu junto com Nenel, fundador do Parangolé, o "Rebolation", música de trabalho para o carnaval de 2010. A música tinha influências das raves e da dança eletrônica, porém, com o rebolado das coreografias de pagode. Com o Rebolation, o Parangolé chegou a ter sucesso internacional, batendo recorde nas paradas da Angola e de Portugal. Com esse feito, Léo e a banda conseguieam entrar para o Guinness Book por ter a canção mais tocada no mundo todo. Além do sucesso comercial, foi um sucesso também pela crítica, recebendo o Troféu Dodô e Osmar na categoria de "Melhor Música". Em 2012, Léo passou as férias em Miami, onde se inspirou nos rappers e cantores de R&B, e ao voltar para o Brasil, mudou seu estilo de roupa, e misturou outros ritmos musicais junto com o pagode da banda, lançando em julho do ano seguinte, o álbum "Diferenciado" , tendo como aposta principal para o carnaval de 2014, a música "Me Domina", a qual lhe rendeu uma série de aparições em vários programas de TV, similar ao sucesso do Rebolation, em 2010. Após o carnaval, Léo Santana se lançou em carreira solo, anunciada durante o carnaval. No dia 28 de Março, no aniversário de Salvador, o cantor fez o show de lançamento da sua turnê #LSTour2014, com um publico recorde de 60 mil pessoas em Cajazeiras.
