Fauzi Beydoun é o vocalista, guitarrista e principal compositor do grupo Tribo de Jah, um dos grupos-base do Reggae Brasileiro. Nascido em Assis em São Paulo, Fauzi passou muitos anos morando na África, onde se tornou um Rastafari. Paralelamente ao trabalho com a banda Tribo de Jah, Fauzi Beydoun, vocalista, compositor e fundador da banda vem desenvolvendo um trabalho solo, no qual, além do reggae, faz experimentações com outras vertentes musicais como o blues, bossa-jazz e soul music. Celebrando a parceria com o baixista e produtor Gerson da Conceição da banda Mano Bantu, Fauzi  montou uma banda que conta com Beto Style (ex-baterista da banda Reggae Style), com Zappa nos teclados e com seu filho Pedro Elias Beydoun na guitarra. Para Fauzi, tocar com o filho se tornou uma motivação adicional – com 19 anos de idade, Pedro Elias já atingiu precoce maturidade musical. A ideia do projeto, na verdade, é recriar o clima de ‘jam session’ no show onde Gerson e Pedro também cantam canções de seu próprio repertório, fazendo o show fluir de forma espontânea e imprevisível. Clássicos da Tribo, canções inéditas e outras já um tanto que conhecidas do próprio trabalho solo compõem um show intenso e vibrante o tempo todo. Por isso o título da banda “Sounds of Soul” (Sons da Alma)”. É marca já característica das interpretações de Fauzi, cantar com sentimento, especialmente quando interpreta blues com rara intensidade. Fauzi Beydoun is the lead singer, guitarist and main songwriter of Tribo de Jah group, a group-based Reggae Brazilian. Born in Assisi in Sao Paulo, Fauzi spent many years living in Africa, where he became a Rastafarian. Parallel to the work with the Tribo de Jah band, Fauzi Beydoun, vocalist, composer and founder of the band has been developing a solo work in which, in addition to reggae, is experimenting with other musical aspects such as blues, bossa-jazz and soul music. Celebrating the partnership with Gerson da Conceição bassist and producer of the band Mano Bantu, Fauzi assembled a band featuring Beto Style (former drummer of the band Reggae Style), with Zappa on keyboards and his son Pedro Elias Beydoun on guitar.
