Bon Jovi is an American hard rock band, formed in 1983 in the state of New Jersey. To date, it has sold more than 130 million copies of his works. Touring, the group has passed the five continents. The group is a pioneer in recording acoustic albums in the style of MTV Unplugged. The band retains some style features hard rock of the 80s until today, but assimilated influences from various styles encountered in rock and heavy metal since its debut album in 1984. With passing years was to become one of the bands successful rock history when it comes to touring the world, your brand, music series, and appearances in TV shows, the band in 2011 was named by Rolling Stone magazine as the second most expensive rock band on the planet, losing the top later to the Irish band U2.Born March 2, 1962, the lead singer of the band, Jon Bon Jovi (John Francis Bongiovi, Jr.), began playing guitar and guitar at age seven when he learned of Elton John songs. In 1969, he founded his first band, called Raze. At thirteen, Jon Bon Jovi had his first experience with recording. The recorded song was "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" by Meco Monardo and Daniel Oriolo, in a Christmas disc of Star Wars, Christmas in the Stars, produced by music producer Tony Bongiovi, his cousin. In 1978, he met David Bryan (David Bryan Rashbaum) in high school "Sayreville War Memorial High School." The two founded an R & B cover band called Atlantic City Expressway (ACE). [4] At this time, even though minors, played at New Jersey clubs. Still in his teens, Bon Jovi played in the band "Jon Bongiovi and the Wild Ones," which kept training similar to that recorded the band's first album except for guitarist. During the summer of 1980, out of school and in temporary jobs - including working in a shoe store - Jon Bon Jovi finally managed a job in PowerStation Studios, a recording studio in Manhattan, which the co-owner was his cousin Tony Bongiovi (who worked with bands like Aerosmith, Ramones and Talking Heads). Jon made several demos of songs (including one produced by Billy Squier) and sent them to many record companies, without success. In 1983 Jon recorded the song "Runaway" with session musicians, known as "The All Star Review" with Tim Pierce on guitar, Roy Bittan on keyboards, Frankie LaRocka on drums and Hugh McDonald on bass. The song became an instant hit in the summer of 1983. In view of the successful single, Jon needed a band. Future members of the group had crossed in the past, but the original lineup did not join until March 1983, when Jon called David Bryan, who called Alec John Such and Tico Torres. They got a contract with Polygram Records on January 21, 1984, when it launched the first album, Runaway and returned to be successful. Regarding the name Bon Jovi, this came from a joke that the band did with the name of Jon. Several guitarists passed through the band, including Dave "The Snake" Sabo, future member of Skid Row (touch of a summer, 1984), until Richie Sambora is definitely joined the group. Tico Torres was also an experienced musician. He recorded with Miles Davis and played live with "The Marvelettes" and Chuck Berry. David Bryan was a natural recruit. When he left the band he founded alongside Jon spent the Juilliard School, the famous music school and then returned to partnership with old school friend. Bon Jovi was now a band.
