Apontada atualmente como um dos maiores expoentes do cenário musical brasiliense, com sorriso aberto e muita presença de palco, Ellen Oléria esbanja em sua voz e violão um swing impressionante. Com shows que misturam funk, samba, jazz e hip hop a letras e melodias envolventes, a cantora e compositora demonstra flexibilidade como intérprete, maturidade na composição e a solidez do seu projeto autoral. Ellen Oléria é atriz formada pela Universidade de Brasília. Atua desde o ano 2000 no circuito cultural como cantora, compositora e instrumentista autodidata. Ganhou inúmeras edições do Festival Universitário FINCA (Festival Interno de Música Candanga) da Universidade de Brasília, é a maior vencedora da história do Festival de Música Tom Jobim do Sesc – DF, multipremiada no Festival de Música dos Correios. Influenciada pela multiplicidade na música de Gilberto Gil, Alceu Valença, Carlinhos Brown e Racionais Mc’s, pelas divas do samba Jovelina Pérola Negra, Clementina de Jesus e Lecy Brandão, pelo suingue da música africana de Bonga (Angola) e Richard Bona (Camarões), e pelas vozes do soul e do R&B estadunidenses de Jill Scott, Tina Turner e Nina Simone, a música de Ellen Oléria se soma à influencia samba-jazz da banda pret.utu em outubro de 2005. Seu repertório atinge grande diversidade de público. Depois de abrir shows de Ney Matogrosso, Margareth Menezes, Geraldo Azevedo e Milton Nascimento, Ellen Oléria já dividiu o palco com Yamandú Costa, Hamilton De Holanda, Diogo Nogueira, o grupo argentino Actitud María Marta, Móveis Coloniais de Acajú, o talento de Emicida. Aceitando convites de Gérson King Combo e GOG para participações especiais, Ellen Oléria é presença recorrente nos shows desses artistas. Sua voz já passou com sucesso de público por Maringá (PR), Porto Alegre (RS), Várzea Paulista (SP), Belém (PA), Salvador (BA) e é claro, todos os grandes pontos de cultura do Distrito Federal como os Teatros: Sala Villa Lobos no Teatro Nacional Cláudio Santoro, Teatros do Sesi e do Sesc, Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, Teatro da Caixa, o Centro de Convenções Ulysses Guimarães e nas Festas Tradicionais e casas de Espetáculos Criolina (Calaf), Funfarra (Octopus), Feira Internacional de Música de Brasília (EMB), Centro Comunitário (UnB), MPB Petrobrás. A aprovação por produtores, músicos e público em geral só comprovam a versatilidade dessa artista completa que em 2009 lança o disco independente Peça produzido pelo parceiro e guitarrista Rodrigo Bezerra e co-produzido por Marcos Pagani. Atualmente trabalha em seu DVD Peça ao Vivo, que tem participações do rei do soul Gérson King Combo (RJ) e GOG (DF).
